A New Chapter for Aviation in Saint-Martin
After a three-year hiatus, the Grand Case Flying Club is soaring once again under a new identity: "Les Ailes de Grand-Case - Aéroclub Yves Blanchet." This renaming serves as a heartfelt tribute to its founder—an iconic figure in Caribbean aviation who passed away in 2018.
Driven by a team of dedicated enthusiasts, the association has returned to its home at Grand Case Airport. Under the leadership of its new president, William Demy, safety manager Marc Moreau, and chief pilot Romain-Baptiste Gaubert, the club’s mission is to revitalize aviation culture across the "Friendly Island."
"We wanted to breathe new life into this institution because the passion for flying remains as strong as ever on the island. This is our way of honoring the memory of my instructor—a man whose teaching and patience were truly exceptional." — William Demy
