Les Ailes de Grand Case accompanies aviation enthusiasts from their very first steps in aeronautics to obtaining licenses and ratings that allow them to fly with complete autonomy. Our training programs combine theoretical instruction, flight practice, and cross-country navigation experience within the exceptional Caribbean environment.

PHASE 01

Theoretical Training

Acquire the essential aeronautical knowledge required to navigate the airspace with utmost precision and safety:

  • — Air Law & Meteorology
  • — Navigation & Flight Planning
  • — Aircraft General Knowledge & Principles of Flight
  • — Human Performance & Radio Communications
Objective: Pass the PPL (EASA) theoretical examination.

PHASE 02

Practical Training

Take the controls from Grand Case Airport (TFFG) and build your command experience alongside expert instructors:

  • — Aircraft Handling & Fundamental Maneuvers
  • — Precision Takeoffs & Landings
  • — International Inter-Island & Overwater Navigation
  • — Emergency Procedures & First Solo Flight Release
Regulatory Minimum: 45 flight hours.
PHASE 03

Skill Test & Licensing

The culmination of your aeronautical discipline, validated in accordance with European standards:

  • — Final Endorsement by your Chief Instructor
  • — Practical Skill Test with a certified EASA Examiner
  • — Issuance of your official EASA PPL(A) License
You are now a Private Pilot, fully qualified to fly autonomously and travel with your passengers.

Advanced Rating

Night Rating

The Night Rating allows licensed pilots to extend their flight privileges after sunset. This specific training program develops essential skills in night navigation, cockpit illumination management, and the distinct operational procedures unique to night flying.
